Abstract : While the recent boost in power conversion efficiency of organic photovoltaic devices creates new opportunities for innovation in the field of renewable energy production, the implementation of organic modules into commercial products is only starting. The PROOF OPV technical forum offers a unique opportunity to academics, developers, suppliers and potential users to exchange ideas and information on how to accelerate the transition of OPV technology from lab scale devices to industrial products. A special focus will be put on building integrated PV, a topic on which the transborder R&D consortium PROOF contributes by developing innovative products for industrial and commercial buildings roofs.
