The first PROOF public meeting was held at the Fraunhofer ISE in Freiburg on Thursday 24th January 2019, in the presence of eight companies and organizations involved in the field of organic photovoltaic (OPV) devices.
More than thirty participants attended the various presentations, given on the one hand by academics experts in OPV technology and members of the PROOF consortium, and on the other hand by French and German companies, manufacturers of organic photovoltaic modules. Particular emphasis was placed on building integrated photovoltaics.
After lunch, the public and speakers enjoyed a visit of the Fraunhofer ISE, allowing them to discover the cutting-edge technologies developed in this institute.
The day was concluded with a general discussion on the theme “How to boost the industrial development of OPV”, moderated by our partner Damien Fulcrand from SOPREMA.
This meeting allowed the members of the PROOF consortium to present the project and discuss on its topic with various French and German companies, in view of possible future collaborations.
A second public meeting is scheduled for early 2020, at the end of the project.
