Working as a post-doc at IPCMS in the framework of the PROOF project for 2 years, our colleague Kamathan Narayanaswamy presented the activities he performed since he arrived at the lab on Thursday September 26th at the IPCMS auditorium.

His research focused on the design and synthesis of linear siloxane functionalized polymeric and small molecular materials for organic electronics, under the direction of Stéphane Mery (IPCMS) and Nicolas Leclerc (ICPEES). Thanks to his work, it was possible to specify the type of siloxane chain required to achieve good solubility of the polymers for their shaping. Above all, it demonstrate the beneficial role of these chains, particularly in the organization of materials, thus making it possible to achieve good photovoltaic performance.

Kamatham will now join the Paris Institute of Molecular Chemistry (IPMC) at Sorbonne University to participate in another project in the field of organic electronics.

The whole PROOF consortium wishes him the best for the future !
